Statement

I create from a place of redemption hoping to cause curiosity over my story of overcoming trauma through my storytelling paintings. My work typically features women in postures demonstrating courage and hope. Most often, they are without facial features. I am inspired by the way color conveys emotion. Abstract works, collages and landscapes as well as my figures are created using acrylic paint, oil pastels and torn paper.
