William Johnson

William Johnson is a percussionist, educator, producer and ethnomusicologist. Johnson was raised in Southern California, a U.S. Air Force veteran and has recorded and performed with Grammy, and Emmy award winning musicians from across the globe including recording on over forty albums. William Johnson produces and records from his personal studio, where he has collaborated with musicians from across six different continents. He has produced four solo albums as an independent artist, and film and television credits on stations such as TLC, Univision, Discovery, TLC, Telemundo, and more. William conducts/facilitates percussion clinics in schools, conferences, and universities across the country (USA) and worked with multiple companies such as the Home Depot (and a host of instrument and tech companies) as a content creator/influencer.
He is an active member of the local community in central NC where he resides with his wife and children.
