In this workshop, we return to the body as our first instrument—learning its its ancient intelligence, space for breath, and the quiet signals that can lead us back into creative flow. Through fundamental practices of movement and mindful breathing, we’ll explore the science and design of the nervous system as a living collaborator rather than a barrier to creativity. Together we’ll remember what it means to find home within our very own being, cultivating that grounded state before we even pick up any of our other beloved instruments.
About the instructor:
Whitney Lynn is an embodiment coach and creative director (@wldrhouse) whose work centers on ‘returning the Body to the body’. Former Founding Director of Redding City Dance Company, she has spent her life exploring movement as a way of coming home to ourselves in a culture that drifts toward dissociation.
Her current offerings — Beauty Movement and Beheld Breathwork — are online and in-person spaces where the nervous system can unwind, emotions can speak, and the voice of the heart grows clear again. Our boldest expression begins with the Presence of God within our own design, where we can meet God not only in traditional prayer and worship, but in the sacred intelligence of our own bodies.
