Workshop Description
This workshop invites participants to make space for presence by slowing down the act of seeing. Through the practices of blind and sighted contour drawing, participants will explore attention as a creative discipline rather than a technical skill.
Guided through a series of short, accessible drawing exercises, participants will practice sustained observation, hand-eye connection, and continuous line—sometimes without looking at the page, and sometimes with gentle visual reference. These simple constraints help quiet self-judgment, release perfectionism, and cultivate trust in process over outcome.
Designed for creatives of all disciplines and skill levels, this workshop offers contour drawing as a transferable practice for entering a creative mindset rooted in curiosity, embodiment, and attentiveness. Participants will leave with a simple, repeatable way to make space for creativity in their own work and daily lives.
